Rules for using RoleWright.
Summary
RoleWright is software for managing a job-search workflow: saving roles, scoring fit, tailoring documents, and helping submit applications through a controlled browser. You remain responsible for the truthfulness of your profile, resume, application answers, consents, and final submissions.
Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of RoleWright websites, applications, browser extensions, APIs, emails, and related services (the "Service"). RoleWright is operated by Cogniversum LLC, a software company based in Hollywood, Florida, United States. By creating an account, using the Service, or paying for a plan, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
- You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so by applicable law or if your use would violate employer, platform, or ATS rules that apply to you.
Application workflow
RoleWright may analyze job postings, generate or edit resumes and cover letters, fill application forms, retrieve verification codes you authorize us to access, and present fields for your review. We may stop an automation run when a question requires human judgment, consent, a legal attestation, payment, identity verification, or information we cannot safely infer.
You are responsible for reviewing application materials and answers before submission where review is available or requested. You must not submit false, misleading, unlawful, or unauthorized information.
No employment or professional advice
RoleWright is not a recruiter, staffing agency, immigration adviser, legal adviser, tax adviser, or career counselor. The Service does not guarantee interviews, offers, employer responses, salary outcomes, visa outcomes, background-check outcomes, or continued access to any job posting.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of resumes, profile data, job-search preferences, application materials, and other content you submit. You grant RoleWright a limited permission to host, process, transform, display, transmit, and use that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.
AI outputs
AI-generated suggestions can be incomplete, inaccurate, generic, or unsuitable for a particular role. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether to use them. Do not rely on the Service as the only source of truth for legal attestations, work authorization, compensation, eligibility, or employer-specific commitments.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service to impersonate another person or submit applications without authorization.
- Do not upload malware, scrape or attack the Service, bypass usage limits, or interfere with other users.
- Do not use the Service for spam, fraud, harassment, discriminatory conduct, or unlawful employment activity.
- Do not reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except as allowed in a written agreement.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices, billing cadence, plan limits, renewal terms, and taxes are shown before checkout. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel future renewals through the customer portal or by contacting support.
Refunds and cancellation handling are described in the Refund Policy.
Third-party services
RoleWright interacts with employers, ATS providers, job boards, email providers, browsers, AI providers, payment processors, and hosting providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party availability, content, decisions, rate limits, errors, or policy changes.
Service changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, fail to pay, or use the product in a way that is abusive, unlawful, or materially harmful.
Disclaimers and limits
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoleWright will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or employer decisions.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
